George Garner has been with Research Capital since 2006 as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager in the Private Client division. George oversees the 160 advisors that make up Research Capital's Private Client division. These advisors provide clients with investment advice, portfolio management, and sources of capital. George has over 23 years of experience in Canada's financial industry, beginning his career in 1984 at a small investment firm that was eventually bought by Royal Bank of Canada. George has held various positions at bank-owned firms, including Regional Manager for Nesbitt Burns and six years as the head of the brokerage arm of Scotia McLeod, where he was in charge of over 900 advisors.

Steven Hurlburt joined Research Capital in February 2007 as Branch Manager and Investment Advisor in the Regina office, focusing on Personal and Corporate Investment Management. Steven has over 16 years of experience as an Investment Advisor, starting his financial services career in 1992, and he has worked in this role at a number of bank-owned and independent IDA firms. Prior to becoming an Investment Advisor, Steven worked in the Executive Branch of the Government of Saskatchewan for seven years. Steven holds a B.A. (Advanced) degree in International Studies from the University of Saskatchewan.

Susan Beaudet joined Research Capital in January 2008 as Retail Branch Manager for the Calgary office. With more than 25 years experience in the investment industry, Susan has held a variety of positions with a number of firms over the years, including A. E. Ames & Company, Bell Gouinlock, Levesque Beaubien, and McDermid St. Lawrence. Most recently, Susan was part of the management team with CIBC Wood Gundy, Calgary. She was with Wood Gundy and its predecessor Merrill Lynch for 13 years.
